The Bit N Bridle club enjoyed a field trip to the Montpelier Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation on Saturday, May 17. Kim Wilkins, the director, shared many of the horses with us. We were able to visit them in the field and learn about some of their lives before retirement, how they arrived at the TRF, and how they are spending their “golden years”.
